OUR STORY

It was September 1994 when founder Dr. Fritz Cobrado was in Seoul, South Korea attending an international prayer summit when the Lord showed him a vision of two continents: Asia and Africa.

That vision led to the creation of LAMP—Love Asia Missions Partner/Love Africa Missions Partner. Initially, it was referred to as LAMP Philippines until it was officially registered as a non-governmental charitable organization under the name Love Asia Missions Partner (LAMP) Foundation International Inc. on January 28, 2000.

Since its inception, LAMP has been to different parts of Asia and Africa. Engaging in both short-term and long-term missions, LAMP is actively engaged in collaboration and partnership with various organizations, international and local churches, diverse associations and community leaders from various nations, tribes and regions through community development projects and outreach. Additionally, we have regularly participated in summits and conferences on both continents.

We are fortunate to have dedicated volunteers who consistently work, serve and give their all. They generously offer access to their vehicles, homes, time, talents and resources as well as financial support and prayers.

MEET OUR FOUNDER

Dr. Fritz Cobrado, also known as the Flying Conqueror, is the visionary founder and International Director of LAMP Foundation International Inc. His passion for bringing together individuals from around the world who love God and serve others keeps him aligned with the organization's mission and vision.

A leadership style that is characterized by passion and a hands-on approach is what inspires those around him. Through numerous initiatives and projects, he has fostered strong relationships with partners in the Philippines, across Asia, parts of Africa and other regions worldwide. His unwavering dedication to reaching the lost, the least and the last, as well as creating meaningful change is recognized and celebrated by his team and partners alike. They appreciate his tireless efforts in missions, training and mobilization as well as his ability to foster collaboration and drive innovation within the organization.

Dr. Cobrado truly embodies the spirit of service and compassion, making him a respected figure in the community and beyond. He takes the lead in guiding his team as they engage with various communities, including those in remote and challenging areas.

He is married to Ptr. Marites Cobrado, whose steadfast support is an invaluable source of strength and encouragement in his life. Their bond, built on love and mutual respect, allows them to navigate the challenges of life together. Blessed with three incredible children, they have cultivated an environment that celebrates their faith and shared mission.

From a young age, these children have not only embraced their father’s calling but have also actively participated in various missions alongside him, creating a legacy of service and devotion that enriches their family and community. Together they exemplify the power of unity and compassion in their journey of faith.

His hands-on approach includes not only participating in missions but also making significant contributions to different community development programs, ensuring that their efforts are effective and aligned with the needs of the communities they serve.
